Boston City FC will again take part in the Brazil on the Greenway festivities when the third annual event is held in downtown Boston this Saturday, July 21, from 1pm to 7pm.
Players, coaches and staff from the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) club will welcome visitors to the area of the Greenway located at Dewey Square, in front of the Brazilian consulate, where the Lions will teach soccer skills to youngsters attending the event.
Boston City FC is coached Palhinha, a former Brazilian international and star of Sao Paulo and Cruzeiro, and recently completed a third season in the NPSL and is owned by Brazilian businessman and entrepreneur Renato Valentim. The club’s development team will resume the second half of the Bay State Soccer League campaign on August 25.
A day of fun for the whole family, Brazil on the Greenway features many local Brazilian artists, food, live music, painting, balloons sculptures, sports, theater, face painting and cultural workshops.
