Paulo saw 334 minutes of action when he returned for a second spell with Boston City in 2018.
Much was expected of the veteran central defender when he arrived in 2017, having played at the highest level in his native Brazil.
Paulo delivered with a string of consistent performances before injury curtailed his 2017 season at the end. He still managed to total 792 minutes and captained the team in the absence of Ronaldo Vieira.
The former Santos and Atlético Goianese defender was a member of the same 2009 Santos squad as Brazilian superstar Neymar, making several appearances in the Campeonato Brasileiro, Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brazil, scoring one goal. He also played alongside Brazil international and current Seville midfielder Ganso, while with Santos.
Henrique – full name Paulo Henrique Silva Rodrigues – boasts an impressive career in his native Brazil, having played in Série A for six years, Série B for two years, and in the Copa Sulamericana, Copa do Nordeste and Copa do Brasil.
He played most recently with Desportiva Juazeirense in 2016 and Rio Verde EC in 2015, and before that was with Atlético C Goianese from 2010 to 2014 after spending the 2009-10 season with Santos. He has also played for Goiás EC and Vitoria ES.
