In 2016, the teenage goalkeeper made an immediate impact starting between the posts for the Lions, making two crucial late saves in only his second NPSL match to help defeat New York Cosmos B.
His arrival in goal coincided with a nine-match unbeaten run and during that time he kept five clean sheets. He was named to the all-NPSL second team and selected as the Ironside Crew Player of the Year by the club’s supporters.
Vitor saved a penalty to keep the Lions in contention while trailing 2-1 away to Greater Lowell United in a match the team would eventually win 3-2. He also saved two penalties in the playoff shootout loss to Legacy 76 following a 0-0 draw.
Vitor started the first four matches of the 2017 campaign before suffering an injury in a U.S. Open Cup win away to Western Mass Pioneers. He regained his place in the second half of the season, totaling 681 minutes played.
In 2018, he waited for his chance in the fourth match of the season, but suffered an injury after only 25 minutes.
The Brazilian born keeper has played with the junior teams of Bahia, Vitoria and Gurani in his homeland and spent two weeks with the Atlanta Silverbacks before arriving in Boston.
