#12Anthony Ferrara


Anthony made his Lions debut in 2017 in the 6-1 home win over Seacoast United Mariners and retained his place for the next two matches.  He returned between the posts to start the final match of the regular season, a 2-0 win over Kingston Stockade.

He made a memorable first half penalty save in a 3-1 home win over Hartford City the the match scoreless.  He totaled 354 minutes.

He grew up locally in Peabody, MA, and played two years of soccer at Peabody High School before moving to Italy.  His parents are Italian and Portuguese.

He played locally for Seacoast United, Benfica USA and North Shore United before heading to the S.C. Farense Academy in Portugal and then Vestri in Iceland.  His international ventures meant he was forced to wait for clearance from the U.S. Soccer Federation before pulling on a Lions shirt.
