Boston City FC’s sister club in Brazil looks to cause an upset this weekend in the second division of the Minas Gerais Championship when they face the unbeaten league leaders.

The Lions have drawn two and lost two of their opening four matches in the club’s first professional season and this Sunday take on Valeriodoce from Itabira, who have won all four of their games.

Sunday’s match has some added spice as the opponents are coached by Roberto Gaucho Marcelo Ramos, who played alongside Boston City FC president and U.S.-based team head coach for Cruzeiro, winning the 1996 Mineiro Copa Do Brasil.
