Boston City FC (0-2-2) travels to New York state for the third match in a row and continues a four-match road trip on Saturday with a visit to the Brooklyn Italians (1-0-0) at 7pm on Saturday.

The club’s National Premier Soccer League in the North Atlantic Conference picked up slightly with a midweek with a 1-1 draw away to New York Athletic Club, though several wasted chances denied the Lions maximum points.

Coach Michael Bustamante, who has started in midfield in the last two matches, should have forward Rigoberto Jimenez available again after missing the midweek draw.  Bustamante scored both times he played against the Italians in 2016 in a 2-0 home win and 5-2 away defeat.

The Brooklyn Italians have played just once this season, positing a convincing 5-2 victory over Hartford City. Boston City have ventured to Brooklyn only once before when Bustamante was on target during a 5-2 midweek defeat in 2016. He scored the decisive goal in a 1-0 Lions home win in the return match.
