Charlton played in six matches for the Lions in midfield in 2019, totaling 406 minutes. He received a red card in the last minute of his final appearance, a 7-1 defeat at home to the Brooklyn Italians.
Charlton played his senior season at Northeastern University in 2017 having played four seasons for the Huskies. He lined up for Southie FC during qualifying for the U.S. Open Cup in 2018. He played high school soccer at Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire, having arrived from his native Zimbabwe in 2011.
