Homero has played 2,682 minutes for the Lions, putting him third all-time on the club’s appearances list. he suffered a 2018 season-ending injury after only 9 minutes away to Elm City Express, having started the first seven matches of the campaign. He scored the first goal of 2018, away to TSF and is the club’s second leading scorer with 10 career goals.
Homero missed two matches through injury early in the 2017 season as he played a total of 872 minutes in the NPSL.
In the club’s two U.S. Open Cup matches, he played 152 minutes, scoring a penalty in the shootout win over Western Mass Pioneers and contributing an assist. He also recorded an assist in the loss to GPS Omens.
Unearthed from the Boston City FC tryouts, Homero was the team’s top scorer in 2016, with 7 goals. He scored in a 1-1 win away to Seacoast United Phantoms, then notched six goals in ten games, including three in a row at home during the Lions’ nine-game unbeaten run to the NPSL playoffs.
Homero hails from Somerville, Mass, where he was a four-year starter and three-year captain at Somerville High School. Played college soccer at UMass Lowell where he earned America East All-Conference Second Team and NSCAA All-East Region Second Team honors. Played with the New England Revolution academy team.
