He scored three goals and had two assists having joined Boston City just prior to season kickoff. He scored the opening in the playoff clash with Hartford City and scored both home and away against Seacoast United Mariners. Rincon was third on the team with 960 minutes played.
A local player from Malden High School, who originally hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Michael enjoyed a prolific career at Merrimack College and was a member of the New England Revolution Academy. Last season he played at the Richmond International Academic & Soccer Academy in Leeds, England.
At Merrimack, he posted one of the best seasons in program history from the outside midfielder position as a senior in 2014 and was named NSCAA All-East Region First Team, Daktronics All-East Region First Team, and Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team. He led the team and the conference with 10 assists, finishing his college career with 31 points from 79 career matches.
