Pedro returns to Boston City after a one-season absence.
Playing under the name Pedro Da Silva, he made his Lions debut as a second half substitute in the historic first-ever win in club history in 2016, assisting on the crucial goal of a 1-0 victory over Seacoast United Phantoms. He played 485 minutes in 2016, including an appearance off the bench in Boston City’s first-ever National Premier Soccer League playoff match, and his tenacious style meant he led the team with six yellow cards.
He spent time in the summer of 2016 in Scandinavia competing for a place with Danish second division club Brabrand, having impressed at a combine in Toronto last month to earn a trial with the Aarhus-based club.
Pedro ended his UMass Boston career ranked first with 11 game-winning goals, sixth with 61 points, and fifth with 28 goals. Had one of the best offensive seasons in recent memory as he led the Beacons to their first-ever national ranking and their second straight Little East Conference Tournament crown and NCAA Tournament appearance. Earned NSCAA All-Region accolades, and was also named a Little East First Team All-Conference honor. Set the single-season record for game-winning goals with six.
